“Why don’t you get one?”, “Everybody has one!”, “You think you don’t need it. I didn’t either, but once I got one, I couldn’t believe how I ever got on without one!”

Sound familiar? It should, especially if you’re a “non-techies”, like me. I am, however, slowly moving on to “tech savvy”. Thanks to my recent purchase of a Samsung S4.

How did I make that leap from “not for me” to “go for it”?

Best buddies can be quite persuasive, for good or for bad. This time, they did good though. I tried my best to resist at first.  I mean who really needs a smartphone? Yea, right! Tell that to me right now! After a while I gave in. Wasn’t it a cyborg that said (and eerily prophetic) that resistance is futile?

Anyway, after I decided to get on the bandwagon, and being a “newbie”, I felt the best way to approach the pending purchase was to get as much information as I could about smartphones.

I checked out this  Samsung Galaxy S4 review  and other reviews of the same phone. What I found on this and others, were informative blow by blow account of the reviewers’ encounter with the phone.  I also checked out reviews of other phones, you know, just to get a feel of the phones out on the market, and I felt that, by far, the latest Samsung model is the phone for me.  I like the enthusiasm conveyed by the reviewers of this phone.
